碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學研究所 === 102 === Abstract The syntheses and structures of a series of Copper(II) and Copper(I) complexes containing 4-aminopyridine (L), [Cu(L)4](NO3)2 • 2EtOH, 1, [Cu(L)4]Br2 • 2EtOH, 2, and [Cu(L)4]I • 2EtOH, 3, are reported. All complexes have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The metal center of these three complexes are coordinated by four L ligands through the pyridyl nitrogen atoms to form distorted square planar geometries. Their molecules are interlinked by the O–H---O, N–H---O, N–H---X and O–H---X (X = halogen) hydrogen bonds to form 3D supramolecular structures.
