The mold flow analysis software (Moldflow Plastics Insight 5.0) combined with the Taguchi method and response surface analysis to find the optimal injection parameters. The significant parameters for warpage were found by Taguchi method, which was packing time, packing pressure and filling pressures. These factors were applied to obtain minimum warpage through response surface analysis. The results are useful for understanding the correlation between the molding factors and the warping. The mold flow analysis software is valuable for injection molding technology and may contribute to future applications.
