Description
Summary:碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 102 === Decreasing NOx nitrogen oxide emissions of greenhouse gases can reduce the impact on the natural environment and avoid the global warming. Denitrification systems used to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions in coal-fired power plants can be divided into three types, including low NOx burner, selective non-catalytic reduction, and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). However, the application of SCR technology in NOx emission control was rarely reported in literature. The aim of this thesis is to study the applications of SCR technology in NOx emission control of power plants in Taiwan. Test results demonstrate that the SCR technology can reduce the NOx emission 28.64-87.41%, and the environment can be benefited by the reduction of NOx emission. Therefore, the SCR technology is recommended for wider application in related industries. The excellent performance of remarked NOx reduction can be applied to related industries for reducing the NOx emission, lightening the harms to the natural environment, and fulfilling the duties of environment protection.
