Generally, users valued the electricity quality more than the used efficiency of electricity. Moreover, due to the topography, the secondary substations located in the low-lying areas were vulnerable to flood damage in the rainy season. Flood should be prevented because it would result in a high likelihood of power cuts. Therefore, this thesis investigated the monitoring mechanism, the control measures, and emergency treatments in substation for preventing the floods.
