碩士 === 中央警察大學 === 犯罪防治研究所 === 102 === Gang activity is closely associated with deviant behavior and crime , which involved violence , crime, alcohol and drug abuse problems ,which made serious effect on individuals, families, schools, society . In retrospect gang -related research , most of the research are carried out against gangs and gang members .Llittle research studied about the exploration of the issues which the general juvenile involved in gang activity. In order to understand the circumstances and factors which the juvenile involved in gang activity , the study targeted on 839 male student of junior high school in Taipei City , New Taipei City , Taoyuan County , Hsinchu County , Hsinchu City .The survey questionnaire included the basic characteristics of the individual , attachment to parents, parenting attitudes ( father abuse and mother abuse ) , family relationships ( father control and mother control ) , relationships of peer, school life, deviant peer , traditional leisure activities , legal beliefs, low self-control, residence environment . 826 valid questionnaires were recovered , so this study can be carried out statistical analysis, and access to many valuable findings. The results showed that :( 1) The " fun activities " were the most in patterns of gang activity which juvenile involved .( 2) The " making friends " were the most in motivation which the juvenile involved in gang activity.(3)The " junior students recommended " were the most in the reason of the first time which juvenile involved in gang activity.(4 ) In basic personal characteristics , grade , age, mother's educational level significantly correlate with involvement of gang activity.(5)Depending on involvement of gang activity , the analysis of differences were statistically significant on the attachment to parents , mother direct control , mother indirect control , father indirect control , performance in school , attachment to schools , teacher-student relationship , deviant peer , low self-control , positive legal beliefs, traditional leisure activities , poor homes.(6) Involvement of gang activity and deviant peer , positive legal beliefs, low self-control, poor homes showed significantly positive correlation.(7) Involvement of gang activity and the attachment to parents, mother direct control , father indirect control , mother indirect control , school in performance , attachment to schools, teacher-student relationship , participation in leisure activities showed significantly negative correlation.(8)In logistic analysis , " performance in school ", " mother indirect control ", " low self-control "and " deviant peer " provided a strong and significant influence on involvement of gang activity . (9) external objective environmental were not a decisive factor for involvement of gang activity. According to these results in the study , several specific suggestions on the family, school , society provide considerable help in theory and practice. Keywords : juvenile ,gang, gang activity
