Description
Summary:碩士 === 嘉南藥理大學 === 職業安全衛生系 === 103 === Data shows fall accidents in the world are one of the main causes leading to occupational injury or death, so does the situation in Taiwan as one of the top ten accidents. There are seldom studies related to occupational safety and health in livestock farms in Taiwan, for example falls, instead most of them are towards bioaerosol investigation or harm of antibiotics to humans. Factors to falls can be diversified. This study was conducted in a farming company : 1. assessed the fall accident rate in breeding shed, farrowing shed, nursery shed and pig shed by questionnaire; 2. analyzed fall causes and related factors among animal husbandry workers, and then implemented preventive measures from prevention point of view, to avoid fall accidents. The study results showed the fall rate of workers in pig shed reached 78.5% (the average was 58.6%) and the main injured sites were feet (74.4%) and hands (53.8%). Anti-fall in the knowledge test and analysis can be found in fall prevention knowledge and experience exists fall significantly associated(p = 0.001). In health status and fall empirical analysis can be found in significant relevant experience tightness of breath and falls presence (p = 0.007). Probably because it is more easily distracted, things change response or reaction is less than ground conditions caused by falls. Early hogs and late hog are the most prone to fall in place.Livestock workers working in any sector are considered early in the hog and late in the hog are the most prone to fall in place. In terms of the fall prevention strategies, it is recommended to clear obstacles on the ground, maintain the surface static friction coefficient being 0.5 or more and strengthen education and training to fall prevention to reduce related damage.
