The qualitative study (literature review) and quantitative study (real scale experiment) were applied in the verification of this research. The present study aims to investigate the influence of the magnetic effect on scaling inhibitfrom real scale hot spring hotel with the help of Li Bo. Technology Co. Ltd. Based on the research of literature review, the most commonscaling inhibitors that could be seen in the market are modular ultra-sonication and magnetic effect. Moreover, the real scale experiment indicated that the location of pipeline and storage tank for hot spring industrial is lack of power supply.The ultra-sonication was not suggested to hot spring industrial owing to energy consuming and potentialnoise consideration. The magnetic effecton scaling inhibitor was suggested to this research. The research of literature review also indicated thatthe magnetic effect on scaling inhibitor wereeffective at lower flow rate and temperature. It is because of the increasing potential of negative charges ions in the water, which decreases the formation possibility of solid precipitation from positive ions and negative ions in hot spring water. Moreover, this study has applied the magnetic effect on scaling inhibitor which is SSRA system to the real scale examination. The SSRA III system was installed at the storage tank before it supplied to the recreation service at Lucky hot spring hotel of Rueisuei hot spring area. The pipeline went through SSRA system was not changed during the experimental period. However, the pipeline without SSRA system has changed one time. The result has indicated the positivefeasibility of SSRA system applied to the hot spring pipeline system and storage tank.
