The main components are unsaturated phospholipid Epikuron(EM 200), surfactant, alcohol and D-Panthenol. The addition of steay amine (SA) in the microemulsion to make positive charge is also studied. The result showed that the maximum addition of D-Panthenol and steayl amine for stable emulsion is 2% and 0.3% respectively. The microemulsions at acidic neutral condition were better stable than at basic condition after one month storage. The amount of D-Panthenol were not charge after one month storage. The skin absorption study showed that the skin absorption of D-Panthenol in uncharge and positive charge microemulsion are 102 µg and 107µg respectively, which are large than conventional emulsion(37 µg). This result showed the great benefit of microemulsion. The morphology of the treated skins were also observed by scanning electron microscope.
