Methods:Questionare survey was conducted in indivuduals (n=302), who gave brith of their babies within two months in Chinese Medical University Hospital. Questionares with the 5-point Likert scale wrere utilized to assess life quality of maternality followed by multivariate analysis of variance and one way repeated measure analysis of variation. These questionares mainly focused on sense of achievement and mother-child relationship 20 items. In addition, basic personal information, methods of breast milk delivery, and timetable of daily life activities were collected. Multiple regression analysis was performed using breastfeeding methods as an independent variable, basic personal information as a control variable, and quality of daily life activities as a dependent vaiable. All analyses were performed using the SPSS predictive analytics software. Results: Average age of the objects was 32.8 years old (25-40 years old). Of 302 individuals, 87.8% received college education/or higher, 69.2% gave birth vaginally, 55.3% gave brith for the first time, and 98.7% had singleton births. Statstistical analyses revealed that the variable of breastfeeding positively correlates with the variable of maternal daily life activities (p<0.001). Women with exclusive breastfeeding exhibited better results in life quality assessment compared to women with mixed bottled breastfeeding. Significant differences were also observed in assessment of physical and mental health as well as environmental aspects of daily life activities. Furthermore, individuals with exclusive breastfeeding displayed higher score in mental health status compared to women with other feeding methods. Conculsions: These findings that the association of women with pure breastfeeding with better mental health status will be our recommendations for promising practices of breastfeeding in maternal and infant health care and will serve as a fundamental base for future investigation. 楊文惠 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 97 zh-TW
