Thus, there is no strict standard on wavelength classification as well as lightness control during early LED development stage. Human eye is a sensitive organ toward wavelength and brightness. If un-sorted LED is displayed in array, those LED will cause uneven color phenomenon through visual inspection and effect visual inspect result. Generally, the wavelength, brightness, luminous flux, CRI, working voltage and IR are the required items to sort/testing the LED through sort/testing machine. sorting/testing is one of compulsory processes in LED manufacturing process. Meanwhile, sorting/testing is a crucial process for both dice production and LED package cost. The purpose of the thesis is to study the combination in between different measurement height of spectrometer and different type cover boards on sort/test machine and expect to collect the best optimization combination group.
