Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 機械工程學系碩士班 === 102 === The corrosion behavior of a permanganate conversion film formed on the AZ91D magnesium alloy has been evaluated in 3.5 wt. % NaCl solution by polarization testing in this study. Before the conversion coating process, the AZ91D magnesium substrates was pickled in sulfuric acid and measure the surface roughness of the Surftest SJ-301 . Experimental results showed that the AZ91D magnesium substrates possessesthe lowest corrosion potential and the noble corrosion current density after immersion in permanganatesalt solution 5 minutes. The corrosion current density of manganese oxide film on the substrate reduced with increasing the conversion coating time, and said the film on a certain thickness can provide the better corrosion resistance of the magnesium metal.
