But it still is not popular. Because the smart appliances and central control systems are so expensive in current market, that users can’t accept them, but the smart home system will have power saving 20%[1]. The reason lets me to produce the motivation of article. In this thesis, a SoC is used for the core of central controller. For reducing the cost, I use a low cost 2.4GHz ISM transceiver as wireless communication between the controller and outlets. This central controller also support both Ethernet and WIFI for communication with PC. For the group communication and peer communications, I have designed a set of communication protocols. This article also has designed a set of control commands for power monitoring, getting status of electrical goods, and other’s information. A set of programming has also completed for this system.
