Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 102 === With the popularity of mobile devices and wireless networks, the Internet has become a part of our life. They have made it possible for us to access the Internet anytime and anywhere. It is common for us to see people are using their mobile phones whenever and wherever they are. In addition, different sorts of sensors have been deployed to collect data from our environment. Wireless sensor networks are the integration of wireless networks and sensors in which data collected can be transmitted to a server through wireless networks. Nowadays, people would like to access the Internet even when they are moving. This made the protocols for traditional wireless Ad hoc networks not sufficient for the communication in moving objects. Hence, the Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) has been developed for data transmission among moving vehicles. VANET can further help driving safety and control of the traffic. The same principles can applied to robotics and unmanned aerial vehicles. In moving vehicles it is not easy to transmit data because the access points or base stations are changing and handover are required between different access points and base stations. The common approach for the above problem is clustering. A group of nearby moving vehicles can form a cluster where a node is selected as a cluster head (CH) as a data exchange point. How to efficiently create a cluster for data transmission has become a popular research topic. Traditional clustering strategies are determined by the directions and locations of moving vehicles. In this thesis, we propose a clustering method that is service oriented. When two moving computing devices are running the same service, they can group together. We develop mechanisms for clustering based on sharing of Web services. The proposed method is then validated and analyzed by simulations. The simulation results shows the proposed method is feasible.
