Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 科技管理學系碩士班 === 102 === Innovation has much to do with the competitiveness of a country, and it is necessary to realize the protection of copyright in order to encourage innovation. And the protection of copyright has to be taken off its root from the stage of elementary school for it is the important period during which the value and concept of children are being shaped, while teachers at elementary school play the critical role of educational “push-hands” as they must abide by the rules of copyright by setting example after their words. However, under the technological trend of educational information their teaching would, once in a while, be exposed to the difficulty of infringement as teaching materials or media conducted during their pedagogical activities are found to be hidden with many related problems of copyright. However, studies focused on copyright behaviors by elementary school teachers are hard to locate, and it is, therefore, necessary to carry out some further and in-depth investigation. This study is based on the “Theory of Planned Behavior” (TPB) to build up the research structure and explore the factors of copyright behavior abided by elementary school teachers of New Taipei City. With reference to related literature, the author has composed “Questionnaire Affecting the Copyright Factors Abided by Elementary School Teachers,” and used the questionnaire survey and simple random sampling to have collected a total of 405 copies of samples for analysis. Through single-factor variance analysis, t-test, correlation analysis, and regression analysis, the survey would then investigate the relationship and impacts among each of the aspects. Based on empirical analysis, the study results have shown that gender and academic background do not show any significant difference, while age was significant with regard to attitude, subjective regulation, behavior intent, and actual behavior. Furthermore, service seniority showed significant difference pertaining to behavior intent and actual behavior. Copyright shows significant difference with regard to attitude, subjective regulation, and actual behavior. In addition, the study has found positive correlation among compliance to attitude of copyright, subjective regulation, cognitive behavior control as well as behavior intent, while positive correlation is also found among attitude, subjective regulation, and actual behavior. As indicated from the study, the most important factor that affects compliance by elementary school teachers to behavior intent and actual behavior of copyright is "attitude." The conclusions suggest that the Ministry of Education should actively promote the idea of copyright, and administer related seminars in order to avoid copyright myth as found among elementary school teachers. Furthermore, the ministry should also integrate the platform of teaching materials, and reinforce the publicity of sharing among teachers as they make use of teaching materials. Teachers should be encouraged to organize knowledge sharing groups, so that they can exchange and share, thus enhancing their knowledge and experience on copyright.
