碩士 === 中華大學 === 行政管理學系碩士班 === 102 === The purpose of this study is to understand relation network and development strategies of musical performance art organization. In Taiwan, although there are many performance art groups, it appears that not many studies stressed on this subject. This study uses New Sound wind band as a case, New Sound is an orchestra band from Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, and it promotes wind band arts education activities and provides various views of orchestra to the public by performing with different styles. In this study, we use case study, observational method and in-depth interview to investigate development process and operational situation of New Sound, furthermore, to describe its relation network. By this study, we could find possible predicaments of performing arts groups, and offer some suggestions. This research found that the number of members, financial situation and development strategies are critical factors of relation network, which was mainly established and affected by two key leaders in New Sound. Based on the planning of internal coordination and external resources, we also suggested some feasible strategies includes of expanding relation network, satisfying existing members expectations and recruiting new members.
