We investigated and analyzed the effect of different factors via the feedback of teachers and relevant employees of the nurseries in Taichung city. These factors includes "the level of policy-understanding", "system", "welfare", "pressure of working", " curriculum" and "level of satisfaction". The statistic and analysis results of this research are based on a questionnaire survey, in which we sent out the questionnaires with overall sample size of 600 while the retuned sample size of valid questionnaires is 523 and effective return rate is 87.2%. The brief summary of this study is illustrated as below: 1. More than 85% of the teachers and relevant employees of the nurseries in Taichung City are well informed of and understood the policy of integration of nurseries and kindergartens. 2. The average score of "system" is between 3.11 and 3.53, which indicates that these staff might regard the current system as an acceptable system or even a better one. "The integration of nurseries and kindergartens is a policy worth of using the country’s resources" gets 3.53 and is the highest average score in this item. 3. The average score of "welfare" is between 2.51 and 2.99 which implies that these staff may not be satisfied with current welfare treatment or expect some more related policy. The lowest average score is 2.51 and this item is about "the relationship between effort into work and salary reward". 4. "Pressure of working" gets an assessment averaged from 3.51 to 4.23 for these teachers and relevant employees of the nurseries. These values are larger than the mean value 3, which means that these staff do feel the pressure of work significantly. "The elementary review system" scores 4.23 and is the highest one. 5. The average appraisal of “curriculum "is between 3.64 and 4.32 for these staff of the nurseries. These values are larger than the mean value 3 and shows that the staff hold high pedegogical identifications on curriculum design."The first goal of nurseries and kindergartens is to keep the kids healthy and safe in both physical and mental" gets the highest scores 4.32 in this item. 6. Based on the questionnaire of these teachers and relevant employees of the nurseries, the overall satisfaction degree about the integration of nurseries and kindergarten is around 2.62 to 2.79 by average, which is less than the mean value 3.This result might imply the overall degree of satisfaction among the staff on the current nurseries status after the integration of nurseries and kindergarten is not apparent.
