Firstly, the different particle size and crystalline type of nitroguanidine were prepared by using stirring rate,temperature,antisolvent and other as operating parameters,. Secondly,the crystal surface and particle size of nitroguanidine were observed by electron microscopy, bulk density by Mil-Standrad, thermochemical by thermal analyzer analysis, impact sensitivity by drop hammer impact tester. Based on the experimental data, the spherical shaped nitroguanidine crystals with narrow particle size distribution could prepare by the solventing-out crystallization method , and their bulk density and impact sensitivity is better than that of needle shaped crystals.
