Summary: | 碩士 === 元智大學 === 通訊工程學系 === 101 === This thesis is about 4#westeur024#4 Butler Matrix divided into two parts. First part, the broadband 4x4 Butler Matrix with single-layered structure for LTE bands (1.6-2.8 GHz) will be proposed. This thesis is to propose the method of broadband design, including Branch line coupler, Crossover and Phase shifter. Compare the conventional structure with broadband 4x4 Butler Matrix. Although dimensions (41cm*16cm) with broadband structure are 40 percent as large as the conventional structure, broadband structure has bandwidth percentage of 55. Second part, the proposed broadband 4#westeur024#4 Butler Matrix structure will consider its miniaturization. Because its dimensions are too large, in order to reduce its size, we use equivalent transmission line technology. This kind of approach can make various constituent elements of Butler matrix be miniaturized, and it has been successfully reduced the broadband 4#westeur024#4 Butler Matrix dimensions nearly 22 percent. In order to validate the Butler matrix, we combine Vivaldi array antenna to broadband 4#westeur024#4 Butler Matrix. In operating frequency range 1.6GHz-2.8GHz, we take the 1.9GHz, 2.3GHz and 2.6GHz for far-field pattern measurement. The measurement result shows that the array system demonstrates four main-beam directions for LTE band (1.9GHz 2.3GHz 2.6GHz), and the results of measurement have been consistent with the simulation.
