Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 機械工程學系 === 101 === Tai Chi is a traditional sport and culture of the ancient China. In the recent study, we found out that doing Tai Chi exercise can increase the body's sense of balance. In this research, we went to Taoyuan Senior Citizens’ Home to find some elderly people who can stand and walk by themselves via teaching them to do the simple nine steps Tai Chi exercise. Over three months training and measurements collected human body center of pressure signal. We use MEMD-Enhanced MMSE of these two new methods to analyze data. Assessing the degree of improving balance in nine steps Tai Chi exercise for the elderly, we measure and collect pulse oximetry at the same time to see whether nine steps Tai Chi exercise affects the heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration rate or not. We also compare new methods with EMD-Enhanced MSE. Furthermore, we can use these two new methods on another physiological signal analysis in the future.
