Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 101 === In recent years, the rapid growth of information technology has had a great impact on teaching. It not only breaks through the limitation of time and space for traditional classroom activities but also enhance learning effectiveness by promoting the interaction between learners. Indeed, previous research demonstrated that technology supported collaborative learning leads to better student teamwork quality and produce good learning result. This study explores the impact of student’s learning attitude on perceived use of CMCS (Computer-mediated Communication System) and teamwork quality, and the influence of learning style on use of CMCS by using scales adapted from previous research. After surveying 253 students of Department of Information Management, we found that most groups used more than one tool to communicate during their collaboration. The result demonstrated that learning attitude has a strong impact on use of CMCS and teamwork quality. Furthermore, the perception of the discussion tool greatly affects their teamwork quality. However, the result indicated that learning style has no significant effect on perceived use of CMCS.
