Of which, Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a framework of wireless network which can be used immediately after rapid configuration. Its feature being able to be expanded or reduced arbitrarily in network scale is an important issue for realizing maintenance and surveillance of WMN. This thesis aims to investigate state of network nodes of WMN and quality of linkage between nodes, including relevant indexes referred by various routing protocols. In addition, it demonstrates detection and collection of relevant state and index values of the nodes. Finally, it develops a system for real-time surveillance on state of each node on the WMN and real throughput of each link of its neighboring node. In this way, the data collected can be integrated and conveyed to back end for the sake of network maintenance and self-test by the administrator.
