Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 化學工程與材料科學學系 === 101 === In this study, cross-linked polybenzimidazoles (Tri- PBIs) was synthesized from 3,3’-diaminobenzidine, isophthalic acid and 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid using polyphosphic acid as a solvent. The Tri-PBIs with PPA mixture was cast onto glass dishes to prepare proton exchange membranes. ATR-FTIR (Attenuated Total Reflectance Fourier Infrared Spectroscopy), SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis), and Digital Universal Material Testing Machine were used to study the structural characterization, surface of membranes, thermal stability, and mechanical property. Membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) were prepared by Tri-PBI/PPA membranes and electrodes. Then, HT-PEMFC performances of MEAs were measured at 160 ℃ in H2/O2. Finally, the MEA based on Tri-PBI/PPA-30 membrane gives the highest performance at 160 ℃.
