Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 健康產業管理研究所碩士班 === 101 === This research was designed to investigate the correlations among workplace pressure, leisure activities participation, and senses of happiness in junior college faculty and staff. Data for this study were collected from faculty and staff at Tzu-Hui Institute of Technology. Four hundred ninety-two questionnaires were distributed. A total of 385 completed questionnaires were returned. Seven of these judged unusable and a final sample size of 378 (a response rate of 84%) was valid.
Collected data was carried out using SPSS18.0 statistical software for descriptive statistics, analysis of variance ( ANOVA), T-Test, and Pearson correlation. The following results were presented for the study:

Participants in the research were found that workplace pressure was positively correlated with leisure activities participation; moreover, it was negatively correlated with senses of happiness. In addition, Non-significant correlations were observed between leisure activities participation and senses of happiness.

Participants in the research were found that the average score of overall workplace pressure was indicated a moderate level, with a greater pressure in the interpersonal relationship. Furthermore, Participants, whose average score of overall leisure activities participation was also indicated a moderate level, were presented as a greater participation in the mass media. Participants at the average score of overall happiness was indicated a moderate-low level; however, average score on health status, personal accomplishment, quality of life satisfaction, and interpersonal relationship was low, which meant lower happiness perceived

A significant difference was found between age, education, marital status and seniority and workplace pressure.
