Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 101 === Thesis presents a dc/dc X-type converter which has high efficiency and high step-up voltage ratio. The X-type converter can convert low dc voltage to high dc voltage for some applications, such as PV systems. The X-type converter includes two switches that can reduce the current through each switch via turning on the two switches simultaneously and improve efficiency. A PV array is used as input of the X-type converter that includes the maximum power tracking. In Thesis, a digital signal processor (TMS320LF2407A) is used for the system control that can reduce hardware components. Finally, a 500 W converter is implemented. The test results show that the average efficiency is 93.78% when the X-type converter operates at full load under different duty cycles. In addition, Thesis presents a fuzzy-based tracking algorithm to maximum power point tracking(MPPT) for photovoltaic(PV) system. The proposed fuzzy-based tracking algorithm can let the PV cell to work fast and stably on the maximum power point that makes the load can obtain the highest power. In the MPPT of the PV system, the sunlight intensity and load are uncertain factors. This advantage of the fuzzy-method is to deal with the uncertainty. The proposed fuzzy-based tracking algorithm is used to get a solution to adjust the duty cycle of the switch of the boost converter.
