This method not only wastes the energy but also generates heat. Besides, it needs to increase the cost for the components of cooling system. The aim of the battery discharge test system presented in this paper is to recycle the energy released from battery discharge test. This system includes interleaved boost converter based on constant current control, push-pull converter in open loop mode and full-bridge inverter, which is with the foundation of AC current control. The advantage is to recycle energy by boosting battery energy to an appropriate voltage and then, to transform the DC to AC for grid-connected. The controllers of this battery test system are based on PI control and SPWM. Interleaved boost converter is controlled by PI regulator. The energy which is recycled from first stage interleaved boost converter is boosted to an appropriate voltage by second stage push-pull converter under open loop mode, and full-bridge will transform the DC to AC for grid-connected by PI control and SPWM. This paper builds the battery discharge test system model to analyze the circuit state, and it uses the TI TMS320F28035 DSP to achieve the control method.
