碩士 === 育達商業科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系碩士班 === 101 === This Study aimed to investigate Correlation of study Cell Phone Games Playing and leisure activities on academic performance of fifth and sixth graders in Miaoli County. The number of valid questionnaires was 392（86.7%）.The data is processed by descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation analysis. After data analysis,the results were showed as followings: 1. Personal characteristics of the students significantly correlate with cell phone game play, leisure activities, and academic performance. 2. The variables of cell phone game playing and leisure activities participation have significant correlation. 3. The variables of cell phone game playing are not significantly correlated with academic performance. 4. Cell phone game playing, leisure activities, and academic performance are partly correlated. Conclusions were drawn form the study results, and recommendations were proposed for consideration by the elementary schools and student's parents.
