Summary: | 碩士 === 吳鳳科技大學 === 消防研究所 === 101 === In this study, six development goals: sire extinguishing effects, human security, safety issue, environmental protection, cost effective and technical maturity are considered complete using a plant-based environmental fire extinguishing agent. A comprehensive and detailed analysis is undertaken by comparison the plant-based environmental fire extinguishing agent with the appropriate nozzle size and nozzle discharge pressure for the best spray foam effect. The purpose of the study will develop a fire extinguishing agent with a plant-based flame retardant source.
In this paper, using fire extinguishing agent couple with water mist characteristics conducted experimental program, such as low water consumption, fire suppression quickly, the small water loss, and environmental friendly characteristics. Application of water mist applications in portable fire extinguishers has significant economic benefits. The use of liquid atomization and gas extrusion technology will be the fundament for the development of the plant environmental portable fire extinguishers. The analysis of the feasibility and the method of the atomization of the agent will be used to validate the overall design of the fire extinguisher and the design of a particle diameter of smaller water atomizing nozzles. Finally, a product is made based on the final experimental data.
In this study, the fire extinguisher with plant-based agent is used to examine the fire extinguishing performance. The spray pressure and nozzle will influence the foam for retardant the fire. An experimental program is conducted to investigate (1) the nozzle design, (2) supply pressure and (3) agent percentage for a small portable fire extinguisher. The above three parameters are important to control the fire extinguishing effectiveness. The small fire extinguisher means the agent in the cylinder less than one liter in this study.
