Students receiving English supplementary education is more commonly seen. The learning age advances to preschool in English supplementary education and also students receiving English supplementary education exceed the schools in learning hours. The purpose of this study is to explore the influences of students English supplementary education to English academic achievement. The objects are the fifth graders in one elementary school in Taoyuan County. The tool is Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Data Mining and the method is Decision Tree. The students personal backgrounds and English supplementary education are taken as the independent variables while the students English academic achievement is as the dependent variable. The study finds that the key factor influences English academic achievement is the years of receiving English supplementary education.
