The 16 plots involved in Penghu were the protection forest area with Casuarina equisetifolia as the major species. The application of Boolean factor analysis(BFA) classified the health factor into three levels. The priority was Casuarina equisetifolia, over the plantation of Phoenix hanceana, and the plantation area of Casuarina equisetifolia, Thespesia populnea and Eriobotrya deflexa. The BMDP (Bio-Medical Data Processing) 7.0 statistical software was used to analy the data. The analysis for the structure of population indicated a main shape of closed bell-shaped in each plot of Penghu. Seven plots of Penghu area, i.e. 50.0% of the area, were in the healthy level, five in slightly unhealthy, and two in unhealthy level. The result of the study suggested that the construction of multistoried forest can improve health conditions. Besides, the construction of multistoried forest can show the beauty of the forests.
