Naphtha Cracker Complex had established. This study adopts Jhih Jhong He
Cosmology as theory to probe into the habitants’ physiology and psychology
who lived in Mailiao Surrounding Area. On the other hand, this study also
adopts General Health Questionnaire, Trauma Exposure Indicator,
Stress-Related Psychological Screening Test, The Meaning in life
Questionnaire as questionnaire scales in order to analysis whether the
cosmology and places (Mailiao, Taihsi, Huwei and Jing Tong) will have
difference on those questionnaire scales. This study obtains 100 interviewers
responses. The results show below:
a) If interviewers have higher level of cosmology, the higher motivation to
search meaning in life.
b) The cosmology level five’s interviewers have weaker ability in response to
trauma.
c) If interviewers live closer the Sixth Naphtha Cracker Complex, they
smelled strange taste and pay attention to environmental issue more often.
d) If interviewers live closer the Sixth Naphtha Cracker Complex, their friends
face higher proportion of sick and death.
e) If interviewers live closer the Sixth Naphtha Cracker Complex, their
neighbors face higher proportion of sick and death.
f) If interviewers live closer the Sixth Naphtha Cracker Complex, they feel
their life face threats.
g) If interviewers live closer the Sixth Naphtha Cracker Complex, they feel the
Sixth Naphtha Cracker Complex has influence to their life.
h) Jhih Jhong He Cosmology has no relationship with places (Mailiao, Taihsi,
Huwei and Jing Tong).
i) Jhih Jhong He Cosmology and places have no difference on General Health
Questionnaire.
j) Jhih Jhong He Cosmology has no difference on Trauma Exposure Indicator.
