Thus, the need for these three products tremendously increased. Moreover, novel technologies bring up the richness of information products, provoking the level of dependencies towards the applications and dependencies of the 3C products. As the consuming hobby changes, many buyers turn to internet shopping. Consequently, other than the general 3C distribution, internet shopping websites and TV shopping hoping to receive interests from those consumers, too. Thus, how to achieve good sales numbers and the management achievement of each distributor in the competitive market becomes the purpose of this research.
We will concentrate on introducing basic 3C distribute business overview; follow up using Data Envelopment Analysis specific to the 12 3C distributors. The research started from 2008 to 2012, using the data for these five years to conduct the evaluation of the distributor’s performance, including operating efficiency, technique efficiency, scope efficiency, and the Malmquist Production Index. As the result exhibit, the performance of some distributor with larger scale did not do well; but some smaller scale distributors are surprisingly on the contrary. In addition, the production index of the distributors display improvements, indicating that the companies are striving for better management achievements to create greater ability of making interests.
