They also care about government policies related to swimming education and water safety concern. This research aims to study the parents' understanding of the sport and their evaluation of swimming lessons. Furthermore, the study investigated the various demographic variables on the differences among the situations and analyzed the association between these two. Study measuring instrument is questionnaires, including two parts of swimming perception and swimming lessons cognitive scale evaluation. Questionnaires were administered to parents whose children had attended in swimming lessons. Data were collected and analyzed by utilizing the statistical methods including descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Scheffe post-test and Stepwise Regression. Based on the data analyzed four conclusions were drawn: Firstly, parents value the benefits of swimming and learning outcomes more than learning content; Secondly, parents pay attention to swim instructors' professional expertise and teaching content rather than lower fees; Thirdly female parents pay more attention to swimming benefits and professional experience of teachers than the male parents; and Finally, more concern to the swimming benefits posses higher expectations toward swimming lessons and the professional experience reflects the cognitive content on swimming.
