Summary:碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 休閒運動管理學系碩士班 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to identify the current situation of youths from different backgrounds participating in the activities of Church in Taipei as well as discuss the relationship among leisure benefits, well-being, and church activities participation of youths by questionnaires. Research targets were teenager members in fifty churches in Taipei. Total of 664 questionnaires were administrated, and 623 valid ones were retrieved with validation rate of 93.83%. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Scheffe’s post hoc, and Pearson's product-moment correlation. The results are as follows: 1. The general ratio of teenager members in Church in Taipei is 49.9% male and 50.1% female. 142 members are in seventh grade (22.8%); 225 members are living in Wenshen District (36.1%); 555 members live with their parents (89.1%); 327 members have one sibling (52%); 243 members are the oldest child in the family (39%); 62 members are from Church in Taipei No. 13 (10%); 215 members participate in church activities twice a week (34.5%); and 355 members have participate in church activities for more than five years (57%). 2. The leisure benefits of participants are significant different among gender, number of siblings, birth order, and weekly participation of church activities; the well-being is significant different among number of sibling, birth order, and weekly participation of church activities. 3. Social benefit was scored the highest in the questionnaire, church activity participation allow teenagers to meet other church members, get along with and pray for each other to expand interpersonal relationship and build up friendship. Participants also express that knowing God makes their life better. 4. Pearson's product-moment correlation showed the leisure benefits and well-being of youths participate in church activities are highly correlated which suggested the higher psychological, social, and educational benefits are, the higher well-being would be. Conclusions: youths participate in church activities is highly socially beneficiary. In the low birthrate society, siblings play an important role on the development of interpersonal relationships. Participation of church activities allow teenagers make new friends and get to know God which lead to better life. No matter how long the teenagers participating in church activities, the leisure benefits and well-being are advanced. The more frequent participation of church activity is, the higher leisure benefits and well-being would be. Hence, the more leisure benefits are, the higher well-being would be.
