Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 競技運動訓練研究所 === 101 === Abstract Purpose: Basketball is a sport that involves movement of lower extremities such as running, jumping, stopping, cutting, sliding, lateral stopping and pivoting. Analyzing the lower extremity movement not only helps the readers understand the playing style and intensity of the games; the collected information can also serve as the future guidelines for training players’ fitness. Methods: The participants of this study were 12 Chinese Taipei National Basketball players who participated in the 2009 East Asian Games in Hong Kong. Players’ movements were recorded by video recorders during the Final-Four matches. The data were processed by a special PC motion-analysis software program with the support of Excel V.2. The analyses focused on the comparison of average time-spent and standard deviation in movement. Results: The results indicated: (1) participants’ movement differed significantly basing on the playing positions; and (2) participants’ movement pattern also differed while facing different foreign opponents. Conclusion: The researcher further recommended two training concerns basing on the results. (1) Although most of the time, players are universally trained on all different types of movement, specific strategies in a single game may cause players to perform certain types of movement (or pace of plays) more frequently. (2)Since forwards and centers probably would not slide often during a game, while doing the slide drill, it is ideal to cutting down the volume and distance of training, but increasing the movement speed (intensity).
