Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 競技運動訓練研究所 === 101 === Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the different effects and correlations of service ace, attack score, block point and opponent’s error rate of the top 8 women’s volleyball teams in 2012 Olympics. Methods: Descriptive statistics, Spearman rank order correlation, one-way ANOVA were employed for statistical analyses. Results: 1. The Japanese team ranked first with averaged service ace of 1.25. The American team ranked first for having block point of 3.19. The Russian team ranked first for having average opponent’s error rate of 5.33. 2. No significant correlation of the total score and attack score, block point and opponent’s error rate was found. 3. The correlation of the attack score and the total score was significantly high with Brazil .916, the United States .847, Japan .950, Korea .810, China .943, Italy .783, Russia .928 and Dominica .647. 4. The different scoring techniques among the top women’s volleyball teams in 2012 Olympics were not found in the study, including service ace with the technique significance of .382, attack score with technique significance of .744, opponents’error rate with technique significance of .833, and block point with technique significance of .016. Conclusion: Attack score is one of the most requirements when it comes to getting or losing points, especially when the rules of the game are changing gradually. Using great teamworks and blocking skills are also highly correlatedwith better results. To sum up, attack and blocking techniques are key points to a volleyball game from the study.
