Poster colors and opaque watercolor are similar. In the 1930s, poster ccolors have names confused with other media. Now, poster colors used to design or low ages for art education. However, the composition of poster colors, deterioration and preservation of poster colors is rarely discussed. This research will choose three types market Japanese label poster colors in Taiwan, it sold by the basic design, also choose three colors, red, yellow and blue, and the support will choose the CANSON design paper and Toyo filter paper, through heat-humid aging, dry heat aging, light aging, and detect with other analytical instruments, and analyze data submitted subsequently obtained result. The results showed that light aging has greatest impact to the vision, the color fading, the media may crack or detachment in heat-humid aging, the supports will deterioration in dry heat aging, After the aging, the poster paint is almost still in slightly alkaline. Based on these results, presented to opinions of preservation to poster colors.
