The main research method used questionnaires, and the subjects were National Taipei University (NTU) graduating students in 2012 academic year. Through the literature review, the extracurricular experience and employability of general university students were discussed and collected. The author also referred to the Questionnaire of Graduating Students from 2006 to 2011 Academic Years completed by Taiwan Higher Education Database. Thus, she was able to compile the Questionnaire of NTU Students’ Extracurricular Experience Scale and Employability Scale. With the core of the research being extracurricular experience, the subjects’ performance in this aspect was described and then analyzed based on different background variables such as gender, type of college, etc. Consequently, the various conditions and related factors of the subjects’ employability were discussed. A total of 338 valid samples was obtained. The data was then analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Chi-square, Pearson product-moment correlation, and point-biserial correlation. The results were as follows: First, extracurricular experience, in terms of extracurricular clubs and internship perspectives, helped the subjects greatly in human networking, making friends, improving social experience, and exploring and accepting major-related jobs. In terms of the perspective of certificate and international experience, language certificates and traveling ranked the top. Second, the differences of the subjects from different background variables are as follows: (a) the subjects from the different gender, found no significant difference in the performance of extracurricular experience; (b) the subjects from the different type of college found slightly significant difference in the performance of extracurricular experience. Third, the subjects performed above the average in employability and its indicators. Fourth, the differences of the subjects from different background variables are as follows: (a) the subjects from the different gender, found slightly significant difference in the performance of employability; (b) the subjects from the different type of college found no significant difference in the performance of employability. Fifth, a low positive correlation existed between the subjects’ extracurricular experience and employability.
