Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 體育學系體育碩士學位在職進修專班 === 101 === The purpose of this research was to explore the Taipei paintball societies members’ motivation and team cohesion, and analyzed various background variables which caused the differences on the motivation and team cohesion. Questionnaires were utilized in the research to collect data. The information collected by descriptive statistics, independent sample t- test, one-way ANOVA, LSD method, the results were as follows:1. The members in the research were motivated by four factors: ‘ Health and Fitness’, ‘Achievement needs’, ‘Social needs’, ‘Need of technical’ . In addition,there were four factors in the team cohesion: ‘teamwork’, ‘ interpersonal affiliation’, ‘team adaption’ and ‘interpersonal attrac-tion’.2. The results which were yield after comparing the differences between various background variables and motivation factors were following:(1) The younger members had greater motivation.(2) The boys had greater motivation than the girls.(3) There was no difference in motivation of different marital status members.(4) The higher education members had greater motivation.(5) The higher participate frequency members had greater motivation.3. The findings that were yield after comparing various background variables and the differences of the four factors in the team cohesion were reported as below:(1) There was no difference in team cohesion of members of different ages.(2) There was no difference in team cohesion of members of different gender.(3) Unmarried members had greater team cohesion.(4) The members of the higher education had greater team cohesion.(5) The members participate more frequently had greater team cohesion.4. The Taipei paintball societies members’ motivation and team cohesion was illustrated as below:Motivation and team cohesion was positively correlated, the members to participate in the stronger motivation, then their team cohesion higher.
