Based on this study,five major findings are revealed: (1). The correct rate of the two-step comprehending mathematics word problem for grade six students and the similarity of extraneous information were related. (2). In two-step comprehending mathematics word problems, when the extraneous information descripe as「assignment」,students usually had the error type of「missing the correct information」. (3). In two-step comprehending mathematics word problems,students would considered the unit and the subject name of 「question」in「multiplication/ division」and 「multiplication」type. (4).
