Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 資訊科學系碩士班 === 101 === Proxy information plays a very important role on facilitating efficient frame transmission in IEEE 802.11s wireless mesh networks. While the mechanism for maintaining proxy information is beyond the scope of the standard, in our previous work, we have proposed a simple yet effective scheme, named SimYES, for the maintenance of proxy information in IEEE 802.11s wireless mesh networks. As the design of SimYes did not consider mobility management of mobile stations, in this paper, we propose mobility support extensions to SimYES. Numerical results show that, compared to existing methods, the proposed mechanisms achieve lower control overhead and provide comprehensive solution for a variety of mobile scenarios.
