Description
Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 亞洲研究所碩士在職專班 === 101 === Japanese electronic industry’s production system restructuring was accelerating since the 2008 global financial crisis, the risk management of industrial supply chain is getting much important after the 3.11 Earthquake, “asset-lite” and “fab-lite” are the keywords during this period and to equip a “business continuity plan” is becoming essential to the electronic component vendors. This research bases on the “innovation” of new production process, the externality of industry cluster and the developing industrial relationship of Taiwan and Japan to examine the restructuring of Japanese ICT industry. This research also discusses the recovery of broken supply chain which caused by the 3.11 Earthquake. Two restructuring facts of SONY TV production and Japanese semiconductor corporations endorse the EMS outsourcing and the asset-lite/fab-lite transformations, so this research would like to indentify the roles which Taiwan’s electronic enterprises can perform and to be embedded into Japan’s ICT industry. For the topics of 1.The cooperation strategies of Taiwan &; Japan’s semiconductor industry and 2.The global strategic alliance of Japan’s technology and Taiwan’s capital &; the capability of mass productions, this research gets to the conclusions by using the SWOT analysis which was supported from the seminar of “Taiwan’s SoC design win in Japanese brand names”. The conclusion of this research paper indicates that Taiwan’s semiconductor supply chain could be the complementary role &; risk management solution. And Japan’s ICT corporations could leverage the resources of Taiwan’s EMS through the strategic alliance.
