Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 能源與冷凍空調工程系碩士班 === 101 === This study used the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software ANSYS- FLUENT and the micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) technologies to design and fabricate a novel cross-flow microfilter chip. The filtration performance of this microfluidic device was then tested using fluorescent particles with different sizes for verification of the separation effectiveness. This paper further investigates influences of the geometric configuration, fluorescent particle concentration of the sample solution and operating flow rate on the filtration efficiency. At the sample concentration of 10⁴ particles/mL and the operating flow rate of 9.04 μL/min, experimental measurements revealed the filtration efficiencies of to 77.28%, 79.24% and 82.29% for the fluorescence particle diameters of 3, 12 and 25μm, respectively.
