Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 資源工程研究所 === 101 === The aim of this study was to utilize thermal treated sewage sludge to prepare geopolymer. The effect on the temperature of thermal treatment to the properties of sewage sludge and the dissolution of silicate and aluminate contained in thermal treated sewage sludge would be investigated. Further more, the thermal treated sewage sludge was used to prepare geopolymer and the effect on the temperature of thermal treatment, the content of sewage sludge, Na2O/SiO2 ratio, and SiO2/Al2O3 ratio to the characteristics of geopolymer would be evaluated. The result indicated that thermal treated sewage sludge contained some heavy metal, but the leaching concentration of Pb and Cu were under the regulatory limits of TCLP test. The analysis results of geopolymer showed that the geopolymer preparaed by using 10% and 30% of sewage sludge thermal treated on 800℃ could reach higher compressive strength 131.95MPa and 91.53MPa, respectively. The optimal Na2O/SiO2 ratio and SiO2/Al2O3 ratio were 0.74 and 5.98. The XRD patterns showed that the amorphous aluminosilicate gel phase contained in the geopolymer. The spectra of FTIR indicated that the vibrational band of Si-O-T shifted to the lower wavenumber, showing higher degree of geopolymerisation. The microstructures of geopolymer showed that the appearance of geopolymer was compact. Based on the above results, the preparation of geopolymer by using thermal treated sewage sludge withblast furnace slag powder would be feasible.
