Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 機電整合研究所 === 101 === Due to its lower costs and relative competitiveness, sorting system has become
the magic weapon for enterprises. It is also the key system in distribution industry for
setting up latest automation, lower price-to-earning ratio(P/E Ratio or PER), higher
efficiency, reliable and low product life cycle cost logistics centers. To measure
performance index of sorting system, it is important to understand that it is a one-time
long planning, which involved economical, high output value investment. The factors
that provided from demand prospective, integrated aroud conveyors would also be
crucially influential reason for the future results. Therefore, it is very important to assess
the possibility before moving anything forward. In this research, I intend to discuss the
main theme of sorting system - parcel sorting machine (PSM ). Firstly, I will introduce
the devices that consists of PSM, which including import feeder, turning guide rails,
cart with shifting sorting device, sorting off-chute. In the second section, I will propose
how to complete different sorting informations and how to set up mathematic model and
deduce simulatively step by step in using simple and easy probability concept, all the
research result will be applying to the second generation sorting calculation system in
Chunghwa Post Parcel department. The last section will be discussing the new thoughts
of automation in the third generation sorting system, which combining the layer of
techniques and operational management. I believe it definitely will have a great value in
logistic industry.
