The main factor is lack of the integrity planning capacity, to result in that is wasting a lot of time and resources, in the meantime also losing more opportunities for competition. To enhance the competitiveness of Taiwanese enterprises, it is important to keep improving their process performance. According to the case study, project leader doesn't know how to handle when the project strategy is changeable or indefinite. Then the poor stability of the project undertakers easily makes many problems such as change, non-efficiency, tracing the process uneasily. Moreover, there is no appropriate methods managing parts of project files increase the difficulty of checking project progress. Most of the above problems for the business activities of universality will encounter problems.
Usually the critical stage of a successful project is in the initial planning stages. It does make great impact on project time and cost. In order to be enhance the quality of process, to define the critical issue and improvement priorities by application of quality control methods in the fish-bone diagram and Plato methodological tools. During the improving process that creates the template of project planning. This research conducts a real case study of a famous Taiwanese company, which has deployed the Solar Energy Project successfully to make a study of its considerations, experiences, project planning, project audit, schedule planning, and budget planning procedures. As the assessment of enterprises who’s interested in the enhancing of project planning process, intend to import reference and guidance.
This study focuses on the improvement of project planning process for the enterprise. Applying quality control methods to find out the key issues affecting the quality of the process, and use the key issues of the process to determine priorities for improvement. Improve the quality of the process through the IDEAL model, while implementing validation in the real case of the Solar Energy Project. The purpose is to create the project planning process model in order to provide the assessment of reference and guidelines for the industry which perform similar project. Concluding from the implications of these findings for academics and practitioners are proposed to define the best practice of project planning process. Moreover, directions for future research are suggested herein.
