This paper is based on the model from Milliou(2004)and Buehler and Schmutzler(2008), and this model is designed for the monopoly competition in the upstream and the duopoly competition in the downstream of the industry structure, and using the model of Leader-Follower to discuss it. To analyse the interaction of smartphone’s industry between the closed operating system of leading company(like Apple)and the key components of following company(like Samsung), we discuss what influence between the leading company and the following company when the market size increases. The results are as follows: 1. As the leading company’s degree of development of closed operating system increases, the following company’s price of key components will increase but the smartphone’s price will decrease. 2. As the leading company’s degree of development of closed operating system increases, the leading company’s quantity of sale and total profit will increase, and the following company’s quantity of sale will increase but total profit will decrease. 3. As the leading company’s degree of development of closed operating system increases, both of leading and following company’s degree of development will increase. 4. As the market size increases, the leading company’s quantity of sale and total profit will increase, and the following company’s quantity of sale will increase but total profit will decrease. The smartphone’s price will also increase. 5. As the market size increases, the degree of R&D of both leading and following company will decrease.
