碩士 === 東海大學 === 建築學系 === 101 === Before the Ministry of Culture was established from the government, cultural and creative industries have been mentioned in the media a while ago. Yet the majority of Taiwanese people think the cultural and creative industries as properties, which evaluate the industrial value from their output of the cultural and creative development. The government also holds a similar opinion to the industry thus provides funds to subsidize private companies for the development. However, it is important to know that supplying funds to private companies only provides short-term supports for the industrial development. The long-term solution should be to provide professional training to talents. Printmaking used to be craft products at the beginning. It was mainly produced for disseminating and became collectable art later. Printmaking also turn into commercial products from artistic works. The interdisciplinary style is similar to cultural and creative industries. Therefore, I aim to use printmaking as the research subject to explore its development.
