It, as well, explores the relationship between the efficient teaching approaches and students’ learning proficiency. The methodology of data collection is based on questionnaires which were divided into two categories. First, it is subject to the efficacy of teaching in Kaohsiung primary schools. Second, it focuses on the student’s learning efficiency in primary school physical education classes. The participants are PE teachers and students in year-5 and 6. There are 97 samples from teachers’ population and 639 from students’. The compiled data would be analysed by descriptive statics, t-test, One Way Analysis of Variance, Scheffe post comparison and Pearson's Product_moment Correlations The conclusion of this study is stated below: 1. The overall performance is beyond intermediate level in teaching efficacy among PE teachers. 2. The performance of teaching efficacy would not be influenced by gender, marriage, period in educational milieu, responsibility, educational degree, interaction with peers and school scales. 3. The efficacy of teaching is influenced by age, PE major and relevant reading journals in PE. 4. The learning performance of primary school students are in upper-intermediate proficiency. 5. There is no significant difference in learning efficiency in genders. 6. There is an apparent differentiation in learning efficiency in terms of grades. 7. The teaching assessment of teaching efficacy and students’ learning efficiency in cognition reveal negative. Key words: Primary school physical education teachers, teaching efficacy, learning efficiency According to the research findings and conclusion, which provide the application for administrative units and primary school PE teachers for further study.
