This study aimed to investigate the effects of self-perceived health for middle-aged children on living with their parents.
Method:
This study used a secondary data and the data is released from RR2006 database of the programs for the study of Panel Study of Family Dynamics in 2008.The subjects were 1,467 middle-aged people, the age of 35-55.
Result:
The middle-aged people’s now self-perceived health (The subjects were 690, 47%) and the middle-aged people’s self-perceived health compared a year ago (The subjects were 1,006, 68.6%) are general. The analysis of Multinomial Logistic showed that under the control of other variables, male, high income, nearly two weeks without discomfort or injury and the parents health is good the middle-aged people’s now self-perceived health are good. No work, no spouse, nearly two weeks has discomfort or injury and the parents health is bad the middle-aged people’s now self-perceived health are bad. No spouse the middle-aged people’s self-perceived health compared a year ago were good. Female, the age of 45-49, nearly two weeks has discomfort or injury and the parents health is bad the middle-aged people’s self-perceived health compared a year ago were bad.
Conclusion:
Male, high income, nearly two weeks without discomfort or injury and the parents health is good the middle-aged people’s now self-perceived health are good. No work, no spouse, nearly two weeks has discomfort or injury and the parents health is bad the middle-aged people’s now self-perceived health are bad. No spouse the middle-aged people’s self-perceived health compared a year ago were good. Female, the age of 45-49, nearly two weeks has discomfort or injury and the parents health is bad the middle-aged people’s self-perceived health compared a year ago were bad.
