Social capital was measured using social trust, social involvement, social support (name generator) and occupational positions (position generator). Logistic regression was applied to explore whether social capital was associated with health. Results: Overall, 85.7% reported did not had summed depressive symptoms, and 74.5% reported their physical health as being good. High social trust was significantly associated with self-rated good physical health and did not had summed depressive symptoms, while high instrumental support had summed depressive symptoms.
